An enthusiastic lover of all pooches big and small. No walk or request is too long or too short. Katie-Ann will love and care for your furry friend just as if you were there. Over 8 years dog walking experience with breeds ranging from American Staffy, Maltese Shitzu, Pomeranian, Husky, Dachshund, Pug, Schnauzer, French Bulldog. ● Conduct initial consultation with client to ensure all expectations are transparent. ● Maintained communication with client with friendly reminders the day before a scheduled service. ● Picked up and dropped off dogs to and from their homes. ● Provide love and attention to each and every dog as if it was my own! ● Understood special request and conditions for each dog. ● Walked dogs outdoors in all weather conditions (unless the conditions were a direct threat to the dog - eg Heavy snow or severe heat/thunderstorms) ● Varied walk destinations to ensure dogs don’t receive a repetitive walk each time. ● Varied walks to include short runs, and play time in parks to maintain pet happiness. ● Recorded and report any changes in dog behavior. Also recorded how long the walks were, anything abnormal that was noticed during the walk. ● Safeguarded the dogs and those around them. ● Maintained leadership of the pack of dogs (if walking multiple dogs at a time) ● Refreshed water, washed paws upon returning to the home. ● Cleaned up doggy poop whilst on walks. ● Assist with dog training and rewarding good behaviour with client approved treats. ● Recorded date, time and description of services provided after each visit for client piece of mind. ● Administered oral and topical medications when required.
