I have always had animals in my life and wouldn’t have it any other way. I have volunteered in dog rescue centres and am soon to be taking an animal first aid course. I have a beautiful 10 years old border collie cross, who I adopted when he was 5. I have always worked in care but over the last couple of years I have focused on delivering that care to animals! I have experience with dogs with behavioural issues (both fearful and dominant) and am happy to board potentially difficult dogs (depending on my schedule at the time). . I am medication trained and have experiences with dogs with health issues such as epilepsy, tracheal collapses and reverse sneezes. In addition to my pet care services, I provide beautiful photographs of your pets and in some cases am able to teach your dog a trick or two or do some patience training with them, if this is something both you and your dog are interested in.
I live not far from Croxteth Park. My garden is medium sized, mainly grassed and completely secure. I live with my boyfriend who of course also loves dogs. My own dog is used to meeting lots of animals and is great with them (he is my little assistant). I will always keep to a dog’s regular schedule as much as possible regarding walking and feeding times, etc. I have flexible pick up and drop off times. I provide regular day-care to a beautiful cat from Wednesday to Friday and so. any animals I board will need to be okay around them to a certain degree (she is great with dogs but also often likes to do her own thing, often away from the dogs).
I encourage meet and greets before confirmation of any stays. This gives me a chance to learn more about how to provide your pet with the best possible care and of course for you to know who your furbaby will be staying with. I am happy to arrange these meet and greets either at a convenient park (although I don’t drive yet, unfortunately) or at my home, depending on your preference. I am also available to house sit whilst minding your pets.
Looking after dogs is my primary role and it is unlikely your furbabies would ever be left alone. If they were, however, it would never be for more than an hour. I will always keep to a dogs regular schedule as much as possible in regards to walking and feeding times, etc. You will receive as many updates of your pet(s) as you wish.
If you wish to follow my dog sitting adventures on Instagram, then please do! @pawsomepalsliverpool
I am only able to house dogs who are up to date with their vaccinations, worming and flea treatments. On your dogs arrival please be sure to provide food, a food bowl, a toy and a bed or blanket (or anything that smells a little like home!)

Other clients' reviews of Rachael
2nd time my springer has stayed with Rachael as she took such good care of him the first time.
Rachael kept me updated with fabulous pictures and messages helping me know he was enjoying his holiday and making lots of doggy friends. She took him on lots of walks and gave him lots of cuddles and attention.
Rachael is a warm, friendly and professional dog sitter and comes highly recommended.
Booked with rachael for our pups first time away from home and couldn't be more at ease to do it again in future. I was reassured that he was being well taken care of and was regularly sent photos of him on adventures with his new friend Ziggy. I would highly reccomened Rachael.
Rachel looked after my dog for me for 3 weeks while we were on honeymoon. She sent pictures regularly which showed how happy and settled my furry child was.
She took her vets too as she needed a regular visit while we were away.
Would absolutely use Rachel again
I was a very worried mum about leaving Bella for 2 weeks as she had only been left with family before. As soon as I met Rachael my worries were eased she is a lovely warm person whose love of animals shines through , Bella was nervous at first but Rachael was marvellous with her and just knew how to handle her. While we were away Rachael sent us photos everyday of Bella and Ziggy on their walks or I should say adventures and of Bella making herself very much at home at Rachael"s house , my worries about leaving Bella soon disappeared as we could see Bella was having a wonderful time with Rachael and Ziggy. I would highly recommend Rachael to anyone you can go on holiday knowing your loved dog or cat will be loved and pampered and taken care of wonderfully by Rachael . No more worries for us about leaving Bella again we have Rachael.
Rachael has looked after my Bing a couple of times now and she always keeps.me updated with pictures of Bing having fun with other dogs and chilling in the house. I know that he is in a safe pair of hands and has had his own little holiday when he's with Rachael. Highly recommended and I will be using Rachael again when I go away.
Thank you x
Rachael was awesome. A really friendly person who obviously cares deeply about the dogs under her care. We boarded two dogs with her for 5 days and were sent regular photos of how they were doing, details of walks etc. Our girls came back positively glowing and really happy. I unreservedly recommend Rachael and will be looking to use her for all our dog minding needs in the future
Would highly recommend, Rachael made my dog feel so comfortable and her stay exciting. Will 100% be booking again with her.
