About Irene
I have over 20 years experience working with and training dogs.
My first that was my own and not the family pet, I trained as a working gundog with the help of a local gamekeeper, we then soon progressed on to more exciting sports including Flyball and Agility, we also volunteered as a Therapy dog team visiting a local nursing home each week.
My second dog my GSD lead me to being Volunteer with Emergency Search Dogs as a Emergency Search & Rescue Handler from 2006-2008, then I went off to Wales to widen my experience working and helping train personal protection dogs at A1K9 Training Academy in Swansea during the summer of 2008. I then returned home to study Animal Care and achieved a HND Animal Care.
After finishing college I began working as a Security Dog Handler in 2012. I also became a drug detection dog handler with my little spaniel at the beginning of this year.
