About Rachael
Dog walks should always be fun. For the dog and for the walker...but especially the dog of course! Absolutely all my life I’ve been around dogs so have gained a deep understanding into how they behave, their way of telling us things and how to give them a the best walk possible. I also did an observational placement with a Dog Trainer in York which was super interesting.
I live in knaresborough a BEAUTIFUL riverside town so under a mile and we are down at the river side. Also right there is millennium fields which is a huge field with loads of little beaches all around the edges (SWIMMING HEAVEN FOR POOCHES). Lots of other dogs for them to socialise too. Super close to Brimham Rocks, almscliffe crag, Nidd Gorge, Harrogate Stray etc etc!
If not big swimmers there’s lots of open space for them to roam and adventure. At the house I have a big back garden, live in a quiet area so nice and calm for the doggies.
It’s honestly a Mecca for dog walking. Super close to Harrogate for the Stray, Nidd Gorge too, the list goes on and on.
I always did many hours of volunteer walks with the RSPCA too so have handles less settled dogs.
I’ve also done a lot of work dog sitting/dog walking for a friend who has a dog walking business too.
