Having owned much loved pets of my own I know how important it is that your pampered pooch receives the absolute best care. As a student I'm sadly unable to have my own pet currently and am missing my dog back home - the main reason why I would love to walk yours!
My relevant experience includes:
3 years work as a dog walker/sitter
Employed for 2 seasons as an animal handler (reindeer, donkeys, goats etc...)
Looking after friends pets when away
Work experience on a farm with a large animal vet
Yardwork at local stables
...And of course owning dogs of my own (a lurcher - Jeffrey, and a German wire-haired pointer - Lottie)!
I am also comfortable handling multiple dogs at once: as a dog walker I took 2 greyhounds and a very lively lurcher (who loved trying to chase squirrels) out together. Depending on your preference I can provide on or off the lead walks and will enthusiastically indulge your pets quirks! When I walk Jeffrey I have to carry a tennis racket as this is the only way he wants to play fetch; apparently just throwing the ball is not good enough, so I woud love to know any preferences your pet may have (favourite walk, toy, treat?...)
I provide my own doggy bags ;)
