About Roisin

Hello, My name is Róisín, I am a passionate animal lover and a 4th-year biotechnology student currently looking to work part-time on GuDog during college and after. I'm open to taking any pets, cats, dogs, guinea pigs, hamsters etc. (I cannot board cats however) I absolutely adore animals of all kinds. I have always owned animals my whole life; cats, dogs, fish, guinea pigs and rabbits. Ever since I've moved out of home for college I have found myself without a loving pet to care for, leaving an empty void in my life. I miss caring for animals and couldn't think of anything better than petsitting to help someone out. I have loads of experience in caring for animals; and so far from using this service have boarded a few dogs. I also did extensive voluntary work at the cork animal shelter in Mahon where I groomed, cleaned, fed and walked all sorts of animals, ranging from dogs to cats to chickens to lizards and birds. I also volunteered in horse stables for years riding and caring for horses. I am a joyful and energetic person who would be able to keep up with any animal care needs; walking, cleaning, feeding and just general cuddling and playtime! I would be at home all day with your pup, playing with him in my garden, cuddles, and many walks whenever they seem up for it! I own my own car and home, which are both pet-friendly. I love nature and genuinely would be delighted with any excuse to get outside. I live right next to Fitzgerald's park, the Lee Fields and the Bishopstown park walk, all beautiful scenic dog-friendly locations ideal for dog walking. I am also 100% open to commuting somewhere to walk dogs or collections/drop-offs if that is something you are looking for! Having my degree in biology means I understand a lot about animals, illnesses and nutritional needs, etc, helping ensure I'm looking out for your pet as best I can. I'm hoping to make this my full-time income, meaning I want to put everything into making this the best experience for your dog possible and being a fully transparent pet sitter/walker. I'm looking forward to meeting you, and your lovely pet, thank you in advance!
