About Naomi
I'm pretty sure I like dogs more than I like people...
I'm Naomi and I am a twenty-something environmental education practitioner based in Walkden, Greater Manchester.
I come from a family that has a dog and I have a house rabbit living in my room too. I grew up with a gorgeous short haired border collie as part of our family and when he passed away a year or so ago, the void was quickly filled by Teddy, our loveable rogue "Heinz 52" dog! He is cheeky, and mischievous and loves chewing slippers!
He can be quite cheeky and sometimes quite anxious on walks so I have a lot of experience dealing with that sort of behaviour.
I'm trying to improve my mental health by exercising a bit more and being out in nature and I feel having a dog to look after would really help motivate me to get out of bed on bad days. I hope a dog's constant excitement for life will give me a bit of perspective and encourage me to enjoy the little things a bit more!
