Merckx

A Silken what? Merckx is a Silken Windhound (basically a fancy Lurcher cross between a Borzoi and a Whippet/Lurcher) who weighs in at 15kg and will turn 2 in June 2018. We recently moved here from San Francisco where Merckx has completed a few obedience classes and also took a "nose work" class (dreams of turning him into a truffle dog were dashed!). He is generally good off-lead and loves to run; however, if there is another dog within sight, he will dash off to meet them. He is friendly and outgoing and when he isn't running at top speed, he tends to be sleeping on the softest spot in the house.
