We got Murphy from a dogs home 6 years ago and he is very much part of our family. He enjoys walks, company and being cosy. Due to his age and nature he is not the most playful of dogs but is happy to curl up and sleep at your feet. He is good with children in terms that he mostly ignores them (no licking or jumping up) but will let them give him strokes and cuddles (we have a toddler that gives him plenty of both). He prefers to be with people but can be left alone in the house. We both work which means for 2 days a week he is in from 9-5 on his own. He is not neutered so wouldn't be suitable to stay with a lady dog on heat. He mostly gets on with other dogs however I would want to meet first if you have your own dogs just to make sure. He does very occasionally get his hair up when he feels under threat.
