Care info
Diet
Daily amount of food
One scoop of dry food and another half scoop if she's hungry in the evening. I'll bring the scoop.
Health
Ripley has mild arthritis in her back leg. It flares up every now and then. She doesn't need daily medication for it.
Her dog food is for dogs with sensitive digestion. ( to stop her farting!)
Outdoor activities
Walking instructions
Ripley walks very well on the leash and doesn't pull.
Ripley has her morning walk any time from 7:30-9.00 for about an hour
Afternoon walk around 2pm for 30mins- 1 hour and evening walk from around 8pm for the same amount of time.
She hates heavy rain and puddles and can be reluctant to walk in bad weather.
If she has a big drink of water after her walks she may need out for a quick wee between times.
She should always be walked on the leash. She has rubbish recall and is easily distracted.
I only have her off leash in the garden.
Indoor care instructions
At home with no supervision
Yes she's happy to stay home and sleep. An absolute maximum of 6 hours. It's rare that I
would leave her this long. One of the reasons I'm looking for a sitter is because I have increased family commitments and I don't want to be leaving Ripley for long periods on her own.
Behaviour
Ripley is house trained. She isn't destructive with anything other than her toys. She listens to commands. She isn't allowed on the beds but sometimes sneaks in and sleeps.
She may try to get on the sitter's bed. She likes her comforts. A previous sitter found her almost stuck down the back of the sofa in the attempt to knock down the cushions and make a nest.
