Border Collie

Ellie is a very friendly and happy border collie pup. She likes good walks, cuddles and belly rubs. She will do just about anything for a treat and is a complete people pleaser. Ellie loves her walk time, either one long walk in the afternoon or two shorter walks in the morning and evening. Ellie is still going through her recall training and therefore walks on a long lead. Ellie listens well but gets distracted easily by other feline friends and wants to play with every dog that she meets. Ellie loves play time, she enjoys playing fetch and will never let you win at a match of tug of war. Although, she is very content playing on her own too. Ellie doesn't like to be left alone for long periods of time as she needs regular potty trips, every 4-5 hours. When left at home she will sleep in her crate and not make a sound if you don't make a fuss. At night, she likes to sleep on a pillow in the bedroom to feel comfortable and safe. If she is put in her crate at bedtime she will not let you sleep. Ellie has never stayed away from home before but bonds well with everyone that she meets. Overall, we would love for Ellie to have a fun and friendly sitter that can provide a nice second home and enjoy her company as much as we do!
