Henna

Labrador Retriever

Henna is a loving, gentle, 6yr old chocolate labrador that we have had since a puppy. She is very friendly with people and other dogs and animals. She loves to play with a ball and always brings it back. Although she doesn't give it up easily, so you need to hold her collar, hold the ball in her mouth and say "give". She is usually very obedient, unless distracted by food! She even walks "close" when I'm on my horse. She also understands the commands "sit", "wait"(by the edge of the road), and "cross" (to cross the road). She likes to see a treat before she gets in the car, after which she is rewarded with a treat! Talking of food, do not leave food on the kitchen surface or any surface because she will help herself! She had 8 puppies, 2yrs ago, one of which we kept, Maisie. Henna is now neutered.
