Henry is a lovely, friendly dog who loves fetching a tennis ball and other toys. He has been anxious around other dogs he is unfamiliar with from a young age since he was attacked by a couple of german shepherds - so can lash out at other dogs if too close to them. Very friendly with people but can be overprotective and territorial, so does not like the postman or anyone looking over the garden fence. When out for a walk, he does have a short attention span and can pull on the lead so he walks well when we are assertive and firm with him. Better kept on the lead when out as his recall is not brilliant and he is not particularly motivated by food when there are crows to chase.
