About Emily
I have always loved animals and have had my family dog for almost 11 years. He doesn't live with me since I moved out to university, but I see him regularly, and my best days are spent with him! Cupar has allergies and a few health problems, which I cater to. I absolutely love dogs and pet every dog I see; looking after yours would be a pleasure. I am happy to take care of any age from puppies to seniors (or sugar puffed dogs as I call them). I just finished doing a law degree at Edinburgh university which I loved, but I have full flexibility in my schedule now! I am happy to cater to your needs and happy to tailor each day to your pets needs.
I am very flexible and have just finished my studies for the summer. I do work, but I pick my own shifts, and they are either 3 hours in the evening or 10-5, so it shouldn't be an issue.
I am happy to take care of any dog breed (I love them all) and any age is good!
A typical day can be tailored to your dogs needs. I am happy to take dogs out to cafes or to the st James quarter and have a pup-cup with them, which I love to do when my family dog is visiting me. I can also go on longer field walks or to big parks. I am also happy to stay in and go shorter walks throughout the day! I love to share my days with dogs so they get to have an experience being out and about too! If that’s what they like, if not then it’s no problem.
I can’t have dogs stay at my flat due to landlord restrictions but I have experience staying in the pets home to take care of them. I am happy to do drop ins, dog walks, day care, and sleepovers.
I have had my family dog for almost 11 years now. Although he’s a family dog he spends most of his time with me when I’m not at university.
I have done boarding where I have stayed at the pets house to look after them. This has been from between a week to 10 days and I have had no problems with any of these. I can mould to the dogs routine and am very trustworthy. I understand how important our pets and homes are to us so I am very cautious with safety.
I treat dogs as if they are my own and develop a really lovely bond with them. They really are so precious. I don’t have a car but transport usually is not a problem as my partner has a car and drives me places regularly which is very kind. Public transport is not an issue. I am happy to travel for boarding.
Although I cannot have dogs stay, I can have them for the day. I welcome dogs very warmly and don’t restrict where they can and cannot go in the house. If they want to sit on the couch or sleep in the bed that’s okay with me. There is a garden which my own dog can be in with no lead but if your dog is partial to run away then I would probably keep them on a leash here.
