About Vira
Hi, I’m Vira. I’m 20, originally from Ukraine, and now living in the centre of Glasgow. I’m in my fourth year studying Media at GCU, and I work as a photographer, mostly from home - which gives me plenty of time and flexibility to care for pets.
I’ve loved animals since I was a child. Dogs have always held a special place in my heart. To me, they’re not “just pets” - they’re living souls with big hearts, each with their own little personality. I’ve looked after dogs of all sizes and breeds, and whether it’s walking, cuddling, playing, or simply keeping them company, I always give them my full attention and care.
I grew up with my dog Bruce, who was truly my best friend. After he passed away last year, I got a small tattoo in his memory - a reminder of the love we shared. Because of him, I know how deep the bond with a dog can be, and I bring that same love and respect to every dog I care for.
They all deserve to feel safe, happy, and loved - just like family🐾❤️
To me, dogs are not just animals - they are living souls with feelings, memories, and gentle hearts. I treat every dog with the same love, care, and respect I gave my own. I listen to them - to their energy, their body language, their needs. Whether we’re going on long, joyful walks or simply sharing a quiet moment together, I want them to feel safe, calm, and loved.
I don’t rush anything. I follow their routine, wash their paws after walks, keep their space clean and peaceful, and always take time for cuddles and comfort. I believe dogs sense energy, so I always bring them mine - soft, steady, and kind.
I live in the centre of Glasgow and work mostly from home, which gives me the flexibility to be fully present for the pets I care for. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments - from bouncy puppies to shy seniors. Each one is special, and I treat them like family from the very first moment🐾🍀
My love for animals started early - I was 12 when I began walking my neighbor’s dog every day. Since then, dogs have been a part of my life in every way. I’ve cared for many dogs over the years, each with their own needs, quirks, and hearts.
Back in Ukraine, I also volunteered at a local animal shelter, helping care for abandoned and rescued pets - feeding, walking, comforting, and helping them find new families. It was deeply meaningful work that taught me even more about trust, patience, and the healing power of kindness.
The most personal bond I’ve had was with my own dog Bruce. He was my best friend and a true family member. Losing him last year was heartbreaking, but I carry his memory with me always - even as a small tattoo over my heart. Because of him, I understand how deeply people love their pets, and I care for every dog as if they were my own❤️
I live in a cozy, loving apartment right in the heart of Glasgow’s G5 area. Just a few steps away is Glasgow Green - a large, beautiful park with plenty of space for dogs to enjoy long walks and explore new scents while safely on their leash. Nearby is Richmond Park, a peaceful little haven where gentle swans swim and quiet walks calm the soul.
My home is a safe, calm sanctuary where every pet is treated like family. I live with my boyfriend, who adores animals just as much as I do, so together we create a warm and welcoming space full of love. Dogs are always welcome to curl up on the sofa or bed and explore the apartment without any limits.
There’s a bathroom available if your dog needs a bath or a quick paw wash after walks. We also have two balconies - both fully secured and safe - perfect for some fresh air and relaxation.
Safety and trust are my top priorities. I carefully ensure the apartment is free of hazards, so pets can explore and play without risk. I approach each dog with patience and respect, letting them feel comfortable and confident in their new environment. Clear communication with owners helps me understand each dog’s unique needs and routines, so I can provide the best care possible.
Our neighbourhood is full of animal lovers - many neighbours have their own furry friends, creating a friendly, supportive atmosphere that helps dogs feel right at home. Cleanliness, calmness, and love fill our space - your dog will be safe, happy, and truly cared for here🐾❤️
