Hi there, My names Claire. I'm a dog lover, living in the Reddish area. I have grown up with dogs and also had a lot of experience caring for other peoples dogs. Since having children and buying our first home I have taken time out from dog minding, but I’m really looking forward to having dogs again regularly. I have looked after several dogs through gudog and found it to be a real win-win situation. I don’t think I could afford to have a dog at the moment but I really miss having dogs around. I am for the most part a stay at home mum to our 13 month old and 6 year old, but I do work at an after school club for a few hours each week. This means I’m lucky enough to have the freedom to get out walking a lot and can enjoy the country park, just five minutes from us. Naturally, dogs would enjoy our outdoor schedule, but also have a decent sized, secure garden to run around in. Dogs that I care for would never be left alone, as the few hours a week I am working my partner is at home. I always treat the dogs I look after as my own family. I love them getting on my bed for a snooze or a cuddle on the couch. Having young children, it is very important that any dog we look after is friendly with them. I think our family is more suited to relaxed dogs at the moment (who aren’t too jumpy). I believe my previous reviews on the site speak for themselves, but I know how important it is to find the right person to care for your dog, so please feel free to message for visits to see if we are a good fit for you and your dog.
