As a dog owner, I know the stresses of needing your pup to be well looked after while you’re away!

I have had dogs all my life. I’ve lived with dogs in flat and on a farm and I know what it takes to make sure your four-legged friend is well exercised and looked after! As a dog owner myself who loves to travel, I know how hard it can be to find someone reliable to look after a dog whilst an owner is away, which is why I would love the opportunity to be that reliable person giving you the reassurance that your pooch is well looked after. Whether it be a weekend away, or even if it’s just a quick 60min walk needed, or even something a little more regular, I would be happy to keep your dog company and will always send you updates as to what your Doggo is up to while you’re away. I live with my blinds 8yr old Chow Chow, Willow who is extremely laid back and constantly around other dogs. Since going blind she’s no longer able to do the longer walks we loved, which is one of the reasons I love looking after other dogs. I love nothing more than getting a cup of coffee and going for a long walk down my local woods or Porthkerry, or further afield like Garth Mountain, Barry Sidings. I work abroad as a contractor, so when I’m looking after your pet I won’t need to concentrate on work, they will have all my attention with me being home. I’m very aware each dog has its own personality and would always follow any specific instructions you give me as to how to ensure your pup is happy whilst they’re with me. I love dogs, and in my down time in between being away for work, down time at the moment, I would love nothing more than to help out fellow dog owners who need any help with walks, check-ins or boardings. I have transport so would be able to travel to collect/drop off (an extra charge may be required if you’re slightly further afield) and would obviously be happy to do an initial meet up to make sure your pooch gets on with Willow. I’m more than likely able to accommodate short notice requests as I can’t usual guarantee my availability too far in advance so don’t worry if you think you’ve left it too late!
