Last year I took the plunge to leave my very long career in social care to focus on what I love the most….dogs! I am currently studying to obtain my level 3 diploma in canine welfare and behaviour (almost completed) I am in no way claiming to be a dog expert it has given me a lot of knowledge and understanding regarding dog behaviour. I have a 2yr old puggle called Maggie, she is a bundle of love and fun and loves nothing more than a doggy play mate. Prior to Maggie I had a collie called Tilly, she was with me for a beautiful 15yrs and I have been a dog owner since I was 18. I do have 2 children, I have taught them to be respectful of animals but if your dog does not like to be around children, I may not be the right person for you and your dog. I live just next to a lovely park and the canal and I am out walking 2+ times a day with Maggie. I also have a big, secure back garden. Any dog that comes in to my home is treated as part of the family and I would love to give your dog the best time with me and Maggie. I have cared for family and friends dogs all my adult life and I am well trusted with the dogs whilst in my care. I know how daunting it can be to put your trust in someone to look after your beloved dog and I have always been very select as to who has helped me with my dogs but I can guarantee your dog will be in the best possible hands.
