About Naomi
I have worked with animals since the age of 16 and its all I've ever wanted to do. I have a BSc degree in Zoo Biology and have an in depth knowledge of animal care and welfare.
During my university studies I worked part-time at a kennel/cattery and absolutely loved looking after different breeds from daschunds through to Irish wolf hounds. I have experience caring for a wide range of species including exotics.
I rehome rodents and in the past I have taken in many rats, gerbils and a pygmy hedgehog. I am currently rodent mum to 2 amazing degu boys named Dennis & Dodger, they have such personality and im lucky to have them in my life.
As a pet sitter I am devoted to giving lots of love and attention to your pet and making sure they are happy and healthy while you are away. Maintaining a high level of welfare and regular updates so you can feel comfortable and relaxed.
I am self employed and work from home, so I have availability 7 days a week for walking and sits. I can only carry out a sit in your home as I have my own pets at my house and no garden access.
However, whilst house sitting I will make sure to respect your home and keep to your usual routine with your pets to minimise any stress for them whilst you are away.
I will provide lots of love and attention, varied walks in parks/woodland areas. Happy to take them in the car to nice walking spots.
I will be present as much as possible, I will only need to leave them at home for a couple of hours a day if I have any other walks booked in. But of course, as long as this is all agreed prior to the sit.
I have 2 years of experience working in a kennel including experience clipping nails and administration of oral medication.
I have a few regular clients that I walk weekly and regular house sit clients as well. I always provide regular updates and accommodate individual needs as much as possible. Able to provide testimonials from current clients on request.
I am able to have dogs for drop ins or a short time at my home if they are friendly with small caged animals. However, ideally a sit would be at the customers home.
