About Lucas
I love dogs. I was working in IT but gave it up as I wanted to pursure my passion for caring and training dogs. I am currently at home all day which means every dog receives my undivided attention. I am hoping to develop a career and specialise within the dog industry, especially with aggressive, guide and police dogs.
My typical day revolves around your dogs needs! Ideally I wouldn't want to be up before 6:30am, so can you please ask nicely for me. Other than that, I am at their beck and call.
I have grown up around animals and have always had and cherished the special relationships with them.
My excellent understanding of animal behaviour means dogs can flourish in my attentive care. My focus is always on meeting the individual dogs needs to bring out the best in them.
People call me the dog whisperer as I have transformed aggressive dogs into loving companions.
I have attended and completed initial Insitute of Modern Dog Training qualifications and I am committed to continuing my professional development with them.
I have been assessed and approved as a Puppy Guide Dog Fosterer (waiting for accreditation) in which there is a very strict training regime which I adhere to.
I have a lovely home in St Weburghs with a small private garden and local dog parks. We have an enclosed dog park 2 minutes away. I go to the local dog park two or three times a day and always provide a longer walk at least once a day. We are blessed to have Snuff Mills, Eastville Park, Narrowways and Purdown within walking distance. We have also enjoyed walks in Ashton Court and Leigh Woods.
I would rather meet and greet all dogs and owners before accepting dog care or boarding to ensure you and your dog will be comfortable during their stay.
If you do need emergency care or boarding please let me know and I can try to accommodate.
