About Simona
My name is Simona and I have a lifelong experience with pets, especially dogs and cats. My father was a big animal obsessed and I grow up surrounded by them. We always had dogs, cats and even birds, hamsters and farm animals.
When I left home I adopted a Staffordshire terrier from a kennel and she was my companion for the most beautiful 6 years. She didn’t have a happy life so her behaviour was very complex with other dogs. All of this didn’t stop me I think it gave me a purpose and a challenge and with self study and training we managed to overcome all these issues. I believe my passion and past experiences are what makes me of good help if you need any pet care or support.
I also live and work with my partner Paul who like me is an animal lover. We both teach yoga and meditation which I believe helps also with dog care.
We strongly believe animals are much more connected than us human at something deeper than speech but just feeling energy. They react accordingly to how we feel and most of their behavioural issues are strongly related to the owner issues or fear.
As a sitter as previously mentioned we work as a team with my partner but of course available as a solo carer depending on the need of the owner.
We treat dogs with full respect and highly regard them as very intelligent and super sensitive creatures.
We have our own care and training tricks but of course we are always keen on following dog best routine and owner chosen methods and preference.
Again as mentioned before my experience started since childhood with the total immersion of animals around me. I also adopted and fully cared also by helping overcome behavioural issues of a Staffy for 6 years. I can add that after that experience I have changed my life and started travelling for yoga events around the world. This doesn’t allow us to own any pets but doesn’t stop our passion and purpose.
We are always involved in animal charities and we care for street dogs while travelling South East Asia, North Africa and India every year.
When we return to London, usually in the summer time we both look after pets. At the moment we offer and we have been offering sitting in the pet house, both because we don’t have the right setting at home but I think mostly because we like the idea of the pet being kept in their more familiar setting and habitat.
At the moment we live in a small flat , so not available for pet boarding.
We apologise for the inconvenience but we also highly reccomend pet owners to be open to pet care at their home when possible. Dogs and especially cats love their environment and when owners leave is an already stressful experience for them, so keeping them at their home will help keeping them happy and settle with new people quicker.
