About Hayley
I am 18 years old and I have grown up with many different pets. I have also looked after other peoples beloved pets with at least 5 years of experience, I have worked with many species such as dogs, cats, rodents, fish etc. within these years I have learnt how to cater for each animals individually needs as well as their owners. I have worked with animals with medical issues anxiety and many more specific needs. I also have a level 3 qualification in animal management where I have learned all about animal behaviour, nutrition, enrichment, husbandry and many other things to help give an animal the correct care. I have a strong passion in taking care of animals whether it's taking them on an enriching walk or sitting and playing with them keeping them company. No matter the pet from dog to fish I will ensure your pet is in the safest hands giving them the love, care and attention they need.
I have sat for other people’s dogs many times and every time I ensure that the animals needs always come first. Before I take a dog for a walk or sit for an animal I will arrange a time to introduce myself with the owner as well as the animal so I am not a stranger to the animals for the up coming session and to allow the owners to ask me any questions. When sitting for an animal I will ask the owner to write down any instructions as well as there emergency details such as phone numbers, vets etc.
I have had 5 years experience in looking after other peoples pets and over 10 years looking after my own. I have learned with each job about many animals, each animal has its individual characteristics and needs which require different things for example I have looked after dogs with high anxiety and I have managed to cater to there needs to make them feel as calm as possible, I have learnt how to adapt to many different animals. I have worked with a variety of animals such as dogs, cats, rabbits, reptiles, fish etc
There are many nearby areas to walk the dogs such as woodlands, commons, lakes, fields etc all in walking distance I also have a car which I can use to take the dogs to other walking areas that aren’t in walking distance. I also have a large garden for them to run around in with a stable fence and hedgerows around to keeps the dogs secure in the garden. If dogs where to sleep at my home they would sleep in a safe room where they cannot injure themselves and where I can hear them and check on them frequently.
